Talonreach Keep

A small castle inhabited by exclusively dragons. These dragons are allied with the human cause, unlike 'rouge' dragons who wander Earthland in solitude and normally hate human kind with a passion. This is also the only allied settlement of dragons that is tolerant of the humans. The keep is located deep in the Freezing Wastes and is hit with vicious blizzards year-round. Fortunately these dragons have specialized characteristics to help them cope with the harsh conditions.

An ancient forest of wisdom. The trees here colossal and rival the size of even godly dragons. Peace has been kept here for centuries upon centuries, standing untouched by evil for it is holy land, guarded by the vigilant acolytes of Reeus, thus only adventurers of pure heart can enter. The trees are said to speak to those who stop to listen and will share their wisdom to those who ask. Rumors say that the water that flows through here is the tears of gods and will cleanse away the sins of anyone who drinks it.

Elven Refuge

A haven hidden within the heart of a forest, rich with wildlife. The remainder of the Elven race lives here having been driven out of their former homes. Those that are born here, die here as they would enslaved, arrested or even killed by humans if they were to leave. However, that doesn't stop a few rebellious youths from sneaking out at nightfall. Due to their close proximity with nature, the elves have come to live in harmony with the local wildlife and thus have become the most knowledgeable race in natural medicine, herbology and potion making. Elves have also become frequent users of healing and plant magic. Only elves and Elven allies know the location of the refuge.

A small village perched upon the tallest mountain in Erdas. At night, this village is bathed in the pale glow of the moon and, according to legend, is cursed by the god of beasts, Vikses. The villagers are said to turn into savage wolf-like creatures; werewolves, during every full moon, slaughter anything in their paths and wake up the next morning, completely void of any memories from the night before. Travelers beware.

Dwarven Ruins

The colossal remains of a great Dwarven temple; these ruins are littered with broken brass contraptions, rusty cogs, mangled steam powered devices and other now decrepit machines. Adventurers have long scavenged the place of hidden treasures and precious commodities, leaving it torn apart and abused to slowly rot away in time. It is now but a grim reminder of the sin that is greed.

The Sky Kingdom

A kingdom in the sky. This kingdom is built upon floating hunks of earth said to have been suspended there by the sky god, Sorallius himself. The only way to access this kingdom is by flight, making it exceptionally hard to access without a flying companion. Dragons and humans live and function alongside each other cooperatively here and share with each other their racial advantages, making this kingdom significantly more technologically advanced than the others. This kingdom is the only one to have invented air ships, allowing citizens to travel from the kingdom to the ground and even from one island to the next with ease.

Emberglow Mines

|
A small mining town built on the side of a mountain. No building here is built on solid ground. Instead, buildings sit upon questionably sturdy wood planks. Other parts of the town can be accessed via rope bridge. Navigating the town is always a dangerous and rather unsettling task and travelers are advised to take caution. Those who live here make a living by working in the mines as there is no other alternative and booze has become an everyday necessity, causing bars to remain full day and night. Although the people here may be rough on the edges and little ill-mannered, they are hearty, hard-working and reluctant to give up.
